Responsibilities
- Innovate and enhance PayPal's Pay Later credit risk function.
- Design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions for credit risk management.
- Develop and automate tracking functionality for monitoring volume and solution efficacy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Drive data enhancement initiatives and communicate status to leadership.
- Perform detailed analysis and troubleshoot data, system, and flow challenges.
Required Skillset
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics).
- Experience in lending, credit risk management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in data-mining, quantitative research, or analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlikview).
Soft Skills
- Intuitive and organized analytical thinker.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Good business judgment and strategic thinking.
