Summary

As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using EPIC Systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, and developing solutions to meet those requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, workflows, and other relevant information. This documentation is crucial for future reference and audits.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and IT professionals, to understand their needs and ensure that the Epic system aligns with organizational goals.
  • Understand and analyze the existing workflows within the healthcare organization and align them with the capabilities of the Epic system. Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to the Epic software. Provide ongoing support to end-users and address any system-related problems that may arise.
  • Stay informed about updates, upgrades, and new features released by Epic. Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and enhancements.
